Manchester Textile was originally established in Beirut, Lebanon by Ali. C. Makki in 1962, brought something unique to the table: the British fabric. His high-end clients looked for something that went beyond their standards in terms of quality and comfort, and they always got more than they asked for. Mr Makki’s exquisite fabrics never went out of fashion and provided an elegant, luxurious look that was fit for any time of the year. 

Fast-forward to 1988, Mr Makki’s eldest son Ghassan took the business to the next level by introducing the finest Italian fibers to Manchester Textile. This resulted in an influx of new customers, all looking for something extraordinary. Brands like Loro Piana, Dormeuil, and Scabal had complete exclusivity through Manchester Textile. To this day Manchester Textile has stayed true to its founding principles, and it continues to provide tailors and designers with some of the most beautiful fabrics in the world. With a mix of British fabrics and Italian fibres, Manchester Textile stands tall as the symbol of luxury and sophistication.
